HRT Tracker is made by Nelu Code (“we”, “us”), Dhaka, Bangladesh. This policy covers the Android app only. The privacy practices of our website are at nelucode.com/privacy.
The short version
- Everything you log stays on your device. We have no servers for your data and we cannot see it.
- No account, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking. The app contains no advertising or analytics code.
- The only network use is Google Play, to sell and check the optional Pro subscription.
- You are in control. You can export a backup or PDF whenever you want and delete everything inside the app.
What the app stores on your device
The app keeps the following on your phone, in its private storage. We never receive it.
- Your name (optional), menopause stage, whether you still have a uterus, and reminder times — to personalise tracking, show or hide bleeding in the daily check-in, and schedule reminders.
- Medications and doses you add, their schedules, dose-change history and patch sites — to show what is due and to build your history.
- Doses you mark as taken or skipped — to track adherence and show today’s list.
- Hot flashes (time, severity, night sweat, optional note) — to show trends.
- Daily check-ins (sleep, mood, energy, and bleeding if shown) — to show trends.
- App settings (theme, 12/24-hour clock, reminders on or off) — to remember your preferences.
- The date your free 7-day Insights period started, and whether Pro was last active — to apply the free week and keep Pro working offline between store checks.
Health information you enter is stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. Deleting all data in Settings, or uninstalling the app, removes it.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, sell, rent or share your personal or health information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google Play and payments
Pro is a subscription sold by Google Play. When you view plans, subscribe or restore a purchase, the app talks to Google Play on your device through Google’s Play Billing library. Google handles your payment details and purchase records under Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not see your card or payment details. The app receives only whether your subscription is active.
Notifications
Dose reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent from a server. You can turn them off in Settings or in your system notification settings. The app asks for permission to post notifications (Android 13 and later) and to restart reminders after your phone reboots.
Files you create: backup and doctor report
- Backup (Pro): you choose where to save a backup file. It is a plain, unencrypted file containing what you logged. Anyone who can open the file can read it, so store it somewhere you trust.
- Doctor report (Pro): you create a PDF and decide whether to save or share it. If you share it, the app you choose (email, messaging, cloud storage) receives it under that app’s own privacy policy.
We do not upload these files anywhere.
Home-screen widget
The optional widget shows what is next, how many doses are left today and a hot flash count on your home screen. Anyone who can see your home screen can see it. Remove the widget if you prefer.
Automatic backups
We have turned off Android’s automatic cloud backup for this app, so your health log is not copied to your Google account. If you change phones, use the in-app backup to move your data.
How long we keep data
We keep nothing. Data stays on your device until you delete it (Settings, then delete all data) or uninstall the app.
Your rights
Because we hold no copy of your data, we cannot access, correct, export or delete it for you. You can do all of this yourself in the app: edit or remove any entry, export a backup or PDF, or delete everything. If you are in the EU, UK, California or another place with privacy rights, those rights are met by this design. Contact us if you have questions.
Children
HRT Tracker is intended for adults. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Your data lives in the app’s private storage, protected by Android’s app sandbox and your device lock screen. We recommend using a screen lock. Backup and PDF files you create are not encrypted.
Not medical advice
HRT Tracker records what your prescriber gave you. It does not suggest doses, diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a medical device. Follow your prescriber’s advice.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts to handle data differently, for example by adding cloud sync, we will update this policy and the in-app text before the change takes effect, and change the date at the top of the page.
